Purpose : to make a container that is the right size to Protect Kate's taonga. We were good at sharing ideas with my group and planing our   ideas with the group and trying new ways like using each others ideas. We need to work on thinking about what we are doing because we got carried away so we need to work on not rushing.  We got better at not giving up when it got hard because we were sharing ideas with each other and it got easier when sharing ideas.

my taonga

MY TAONGA All the way from Raro to NZ Today I'm going to talk about my taonga.  My beautiful taonga are my awesome parents.   They are also my kaitiaki. My mum and dad names are Pam and Dallas. My mum was born in Raro and my dad was born in NZ. My mum has long black hair and she loves me like crazy because I'm the youngest. My dad Is strong because he lifts weights and my dad cares about what I've been doing because he love’s me. My mum and dad are special to me because they’re  kind and look out for me.They make me delicious food and they love me very, very much. And I also I love them to. We were learning to share interesting information and idea about what we are writing about I was good at hooking the reader with my introduction because my reader wants to know more about my taonga.   I got better at doing a capital after a full stop at the end of a sentence because i did not know  wanted. My Name

My name I’m named after my dad’s uncle. My name is Ugene Rangi Ford Tamatoa Clarke. My name is special to me because my dad’s uncle passed away and my dad and mum said “I like that name Ugene”. My mum and dad named me Ugene because my dad’s father’s brother’s name is Ugene and my mum and dad decided to go with Ugene. I like my name because my dad’s uncle is a cool man. When I say my name, it reminds me of my dad’s uncle. My nickname at school is Gene because it is short for Ugene and it is easy to say.  so i like my nickname  because my friend’s do not know how to say my name.   I feel happy about my name but I also feel sad when my mum and dad tells me about my dad’s uncle when he passed away. By Ugene We were learning to share about our name I was good at putting lots of detail about my name because my teacher wrote it in my comment. I need to work on not doing one idea over and over again so my story doesn't get bori...
