my taonga

MY TAONGA
All the way from Raro to NZ
Today I'm going to talk about my taonga.  My beautiful taonga are my awesome parents.  
They are also my kaitiaki.
My mum and dad names are Pam and Dallas. My mum was born in Raro and my dad was born in NZ.
My mum has long black hair and she loves me like crazy because I'm the youngest.


My dad Is strong because he lifts weights and my dad cares about what I've been doing because he love’s me.

My mum and dad are special to me because they’re  kind and look out for me.They make me delicious food and they love me very, very much. And I also I love them to.

We were learning to share interesting information and idea about what we are writing about

I was good at hooking the reader with my introduction because my reader wants to know more about my taonga. 

  I got better at doing a capital after a full stop at the end of a sentence because i did not know wanted.

My next step is to not repeat 1 idea all over again 

 Prestigious thinks that I made a picture in her head because on how I explained my mum and dad

Ugene 2017 Athletics learning story

Ugenes Athletic Story: Today I was exhausted, tired and sore. If you are still wondering what I am talking about, I am talking about 'Athletic Days’ My first activity was discus throw where I got bronze. I was good at cheering people on and using the right arm technique so I can throw the discus further. Something I liked was sprint's/long distances. At the end of the activity, I was sweating with tired legs. In sprints, I got silver and gold for long distances. I was good at not worrying if I was coming last I still persevered and kept on running. The activity I didn’t like was high jump I found it difficult to lift my leg and to jump high but the skill I used was to ignore any distractions happening and focusing on getting myself over the pole. My next steps are to use both my arm and leg movement so I can easily move my body to make it over the pole. The next activity was vortex, I got bronze.
