Life as Ugene


So it all began one day after Anzac Day 26/04/06.
The day my parents life changed forever and also the day a chubby king
was born (me,myself and I).
So obviously this story is about me and my life.
So my full name is Ugene Rangi Ford Tamatoa-Clarke.
So Ugene comes from my dad’s uncle (Uncle Ugene) obviously.
I’m one of 7 annoying siblings.


I'm a pretty talented young lad with a lot of great gifts like eating,
sleeping and you know the everyday routine JOKES!! (Not Really).
Anyway I love to make my family and friends laugh by telling them
my ‘funny as’ jokes.
If you want to know what my ethnicity is I’m Cook Island  Maori.
My Cook Island comes from my Mums side and the Maori comes from my dad,
obviously. I love being a Cook Island Maori because I love hearing stuff about
my culture and my ancestors.


School is so not for me but eating and sleeping is.
But to be honest I really do like school, only sometimes it can be very boring.
Most of the time it’s pretty fun.
Well at school we do heaps of learning like learning new sports,
different styles of art etc…. Playing is my favourite because it makes me fit.
Corinna is okay. Lol jokes. It's fantastic!


My FAVOURITE thing to do when I’m not at school is to bake and sew.
I like to bake because I have something delicious to eat and I love to eat!
I love sewing because I like to make gift for my family.
I love to play sports because it means a lot to me and my family and we
all like that same sport, rugby (I mean me and my 2 sisters.)
  
This is me it all feels like a dream now that I’m a Year 8.

Ugene I think your done. Your title hooked me in because I wanted to
know what your life was about when you where a baby to a king.
I was good at putting a good hook so the reader can get hooked and want
to know more about me and my life.
I found hard that I couldn't choose my favourite ideas about me and
how that should go.

Every Thursday’s Year 7 & 8’s  go to Brandon Intermediate with Natone Park School to find and pursue a passion we are yet to find. Ugene 2017 Athletics learning story

Ugenes Athletic Story: Today I was exhausted, tired and sore. If you are still wondering what I am talking about, I am talking about 'Athletic Days’ My first activity was discus throw where I got bronze. I was good at cheering people on and using the right arm technique so I can throw the discus further. Something I liked was sprint's/long distances. At the end of the activity, I was sweating with tired legs. In sprints, I got silver and gold for long distances. I was good at not worrying if I was coming last I still persevered and kept on running. The activity I didn’t like was high jump I found it difficult to lift my leg and to jump high but the skill I used was to ignore any distractions happening and focusing on getting myself over the pole. My next steps are to use both my arm and leg movement so I can easily move my body to make it over the pole. The next activity was vortex, I got bronze.
