Ugene’s Life Story:This is me

Be yourself before you forget who you really are.
Hi my name is Ugene Rangi Ford Tamatoa-Clarke.True fact,my middle name is ‘ Ford’. I’m named after a car.I am 10 years old and born on April the 26 after Anzac Day.As you may know I am at Grade 7. My ethnicity is Cook Island. It represents who I am.
Due to family,I have 7 siblings including me .In my house it's very noisy like a zoo.With the really loud noise it really makes me want to move out.But where would I go?
During school I participate in lots of stuff e.g netball,violin and cricket. In each of those talents of mine I’m always being respectful,instead of doing the wrong thing which is disrespecting others.


Did you know I am good at sewing and art crafts? Out of school, during my spare time I like to sew cushions,pillows and other sorts of stuff.


My friends and family would say that I’m funny and well for some reason my friends even laugh when I’m serious and they don’t take it serious.  
So now you know all about me and my beautiful life.

Every Thursday’s Year 7 & 8’s  go to Brandon Intermediate with Natone Park School to find and pursue a passion we are yet to find. At tech we learn about Art, Hard Materials, Sewing, Cooking and Music. In Term 1, I was in Music. Every week we did a music quiz which helped us recognize different songs. Ugene 2017 Athletics learning story

Ugenes Athletic Story: Today I was exhausted, tired and sore. If you are still wondering what I am talking about, I am talking about 'Athletic Days’ My first activity was discus throw where I got bronze. I was good at cheering people on and using the right arm technique so I can throw the discus further. Something I liked was sprint's/long distances. At the end of the activity, I was sweating with tired legs. In sprints, I got silver and gold for long distances. I was good at not worrying if I was coming last I still persevered and kept on running. The activity I didn’t like was high jump I found it difficult to lift my leg and to jump high but the skill I used was to ignore any distractions happening and focusing on getting myself over the pole. My next steps are to use both my arm and leg movement so I can easily move my body to make it over the pole. The next activity was vortex, I got bronze.
